hmm....you ever have one of those days where nothing really goes wrong but you become all pensive and depressed? i had one of those days today.

i was just thinking about how old i am now and how i have to decide what i REALLY want to do with the rest of my life. *sigh* it's so uncertain...i don't know what to make of anything.

usually i'm all happy and stuff but this 'future' thing is kinda getting me down. blegh. maybe i should've picked a different major? no...i'd prolly end up hating whatever i was studying huh?

gaaaah...i need to stop being so lazy all the time and look for an internship sometime.  good luck to us all.

so in lab we started working with chicken blood today...yummm...

yeah it's pretty gross actually...however. apparently the ppl that sell the blood don't kill the chicken. they only 'bleed' them. so it's like you going to the bloodmobile and having your blood drawn. only the chicken don't get cookies or juice., nor do they get a sticker that says 'i donated blood'. but i guess that's cool. i mean, i personally don't know any chickens that can read. but to those chickens that can, and are reading my xanga. my apologies...i'll make sure they give you a sticker next time. ok i should be less sarcastic and not make fun of chicken. it is kinda sad that they have to donate blood against their will and they don't get anything in return. they should feel good about themselves though. i hope the company that sells the blood actually do treat the chicken well...isn't it animal cruelty if they kill the chicken just to get the blood?

to you chicken eaters out there, you should eat one less chicken-infested meal this week. for the sake of those poor chicken that had to give blood. ok i'm going to stop talking about chickens now...

anyway...it was still kinda gross...especially when we were trying to filter the blood through cheese cloth...it looked like somebody got shot and we were trying to stop the bleeding.

the highlight of my day was watching dry ice into nothingness...that was awesome. and even more awesome was when we poured liquid nitrogen on the ground just to watch it evaporate. they form tiny beads and roll around like crazy....oh and we poured it on this cart thing and it got so cold it cracked....oops...hahaha owell....
